The Concrete Countertop Institute Announces July 2008 Design Class

Raleigh, NC –The Concrete Countertop Institute (CCI), a hands-on educational resource dedicated to helping concrete countertop professionals succeed, has announced its inaugural design class. The class teaches concrete professionals a new approach to concrete countertops using three-dimensional (3-D) designs with Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC), advanced mold techniques, mix design formulas, and fireplace, shower and sink construction methods. The class will be held July 21 through July 25 at the Concrete Countertop Institute in Raleigh and is entitled “Advanced 3-D Design with GFRC and More.”
The class features two world-class instructors, Jeff Girard of CCI and Jeremy French of Mandala Design. Through their extensive experience and industry knowledge, Girard and French will give students the tools and confidence to analyze the design process and increase their ability to work with innovative tools used in casting concrete in three dimensions.
