| Searching before posting a question to the forums is a great idea. Chances are, somebody has asked that question before and the answer is already there. Or, the answer might be in an article. You will see Search features in a couple of different places. The Search feature at the bottom of the Forums page searches only the forums. If you want to search only the forums, we recommend that you click on the Advanced Search link. Advanced Search allows you to navigate easily back and forth from the search results and the forum posts, whereas the regular search does not. Better yet, if you are looking for information about a particular topic, use the Search link at the bottom right of the Home page. This will find forum posts, articles and news items. For example, if you search for "metakaolin" using the Search feature on the Home page, you find forum posts and an in-depth article about metakaolin. If you used search on the Forums page, you would not find that article. All searches must be at least 3 characters long. |

| How do I create my own polls? |
| As a member, you can create your own polls. This is a fun way to get insights from a group of your peers. Any polls you create will be visible in the Polls page linked from the main menu and publicly visible. To create polls, you actually use the Forums. A poll is treated like a new topic in a forum. Click on one of the forums, and below the list of topics you will see 2 buttons: New Poll and New Topic. Just click the New Poll button and follow the instructions. Creating polls is easy and fun! |
| How do I cancel my membership? |
| You may cancel at any time. To cancel, simply log in then click "Edit Account" at the top right of the home page. You will see a "Cancel Subscription" link in blue at the top left. Click that link, and you're canceled. Your previously paid membership fees will not be refunded, but your membership will stay active until the end of the term you have paid for. For example, suppose you have a monthly membership and your subscription fee was last charged on January 5. On January 10 you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access until February 5. On February 5, you will NOT be charged, and your access will be discontinued. After cancelling your membership, you still have your user id and password, you just don't have access to members only parts of the site anymore. It is very easy to reinstate your membership. | Reinstating your membership is very easy. -- Log in using the same user id and password you used in the past. -- At the top middle of the home page, you will see a bright yellow box. -- Click on the link to enter your credit card information. That's it! We will get a notification that you have requested to rejoin, and we will re-approve your membership. Once you get the notification email that you have been approved, you can log in with full access. |
| I need to change the credit card my membership is billed to. |
| You can change your credit card information as follows: 1. Log in and click Edit Account. 2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and you will see the credit card fields. 3. Enter all of your new credit card information and click Submit. |
