This Terms & Conditions document lists all of the benefits you will get and also details that you are agreeing to when you become a Member of The Concrete Countertop Institute.By applying for Membership, you agree to be bound by the current CCIMP Terms & Conditions. These terms and conditions are accessible at any time in the Questions & Answers section for Members on the website.
You also declare that you are a concrete countertop professional who abides by the Code of Ethics published on the site.
CCIMP provides Members with the following services:
* Consumer/trade brochures, architectural specifications, quality standards and code of ethics
* Member logo, membership certificate and code of ethics certificate
* Listing on website publicized to designers, architects and homeowners
* Free and discounted training, as well as discounts on all the products you need
The rate for Membership is $295.00 per year. There is no monthly payment plan available. CCIMP reserves the right to raise or lower the Membership rate at any point. Membership fees are for a company. Password sharing with anyone who is not an employee of your company is not allowed.
If you take no action, your Membership will automatically be renewed each membership term at the then-current rate. If you wish to cancel, you may do so in accordance with the cancellation policy below.
CCIMP has changed to emphasize marketing via the Find a Contractor listing rather than technical features such as a discussion forum. However, those who were members of the CCIMP prior to April 19, 2010 will continue to have access to the Forum indefinitely. They are also eligible to continue with a monthly payment plan at a rate of $26.00 per month.
We feel certain your Memberhip will provide value to your business. We stand by a 30 day guarantee. If within 30 days you are not satisifed with your purchase or membership, please let us know and we will gladly refund the purchase.
Beyond 30 days, you may cancel your subscription at any time following the "How to cancel the automatic subscription renewal" instructions below. All this does is cause your Membership not to be renewed automatically. There is no prorated refund for unused portions of a Membership term.
How to cancel the automatic subscription renewal:
1. Log in to the Site.
2. Under the User Menu, select "Edit Account".
3. There is a "Cancel Subscription" link at the top of your profile.
4. Simply select the subscription, fill in your email address and click "Cancel Subscription".
CCIMP reserves the right to terminate without notice any Membership, with or without cause. Members may be terminated for any reason at the sole discretion of CCIMP, including but not limited to abusive or inappropriate language, causing disturbances and disrespecting or purposely antagonizing others. There are no refunds of Membership fees due to Termination with cause.
CCIMP grants Members a limited non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use CCIMP's logo(s) solely to the extent that Member may use CCIMP's logo(s) on its website and in its print material. Member shall not misuse, abuse nor disparage CCIMP's logo(s), confidential information or reputation. Such misuse, abuse or disparagement shall be considered cause for termination of Membership at CCIMP's discretion.
The CCIMP Membership logo is copyrighted and may not be used by any non-Member without express written permission of CCIMP.
In an effort to continually improve its services to its Members, CCIMP may from time-to-time and in its own discretion add to, delete from or make changes to its Concrete Connections Membership Terms & Conditions without notice to Members. Any changes will be reflected in a dated Concrete Connections Membership Terms & Conditions document which is available on the Site.
Should CCIMP determine that it is in the parties' best interests to discontinue the Membership Program, CCIMP shall give Member sixty (60) days written notice of the discontinuation.
Use of the Members-only features of this website (collectively known as the "Site"), including the Forum and posting of Articles or Photo Galleries, shall be bound by the following terms and conditions:
-- The Site is open only to CCIMP Members.
-- CCIMP Members will respect others and exercise proper etiquette at all times.
-- Any form of marketing or advertising on the Forum is strictly prohibited.
-- As a Member you agree that you will not use other Member's contact information for solicitation of any kind. Violations of this policy will result in immediate termination of membership and notification to all Members of the violation. CCIMP reserves the right to seek damages against any Member who violates this policy.
-- CCIMP Members acknowledge and agree that they will not disclose their username and password, nor will they share an account with other Members or non-Members.
-- Opinions expressed on the Forum are strictly those of the posting CCIMP Member and *DO NOT* necessarily reflect those of CCIMP, its officers, executives, directors, or employees.
-- You agree not to post to the Site any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions.
-- CCIMP is not responsible for the views, accuracy, legality, veracity or nature of any of the information or communications exchanged via the Site, nor does CCIMP take any responsibility for or assume any liability for the content of the Site or for any mistakes, defamation, libel, slander, omissions, falsehoods, obscenity, pornography or profanity that users may encounter while using the Site.
-- CCIMP has no obligation to monitor the submissions or other materials that Members transmit or post on the Site, however, CCIMP Members acknowledge and agree that CCIMP has the right to monitor the Site; to alter or remove any such materials (including, without limitation, any posting, text or image) in order to operate the Site properly; to protect ourselves, our sponsors and visitors; to comply with legal obligations or governmental requests; and for any reason whatsoever at CCIMP's sole discretion.
-- CCIMP Members fully understand and acknowledge that no electronic system is completely secure from error. CCIMP shall not be liable in any case or for any reason for any person or program that may misuse, hack into or render the Site inoperable, or for any other type of system failure.
-- Distributing, modifying, transmitting, reusing, reposting or any other use of the communications exchanged on or information contained in the Site are strictly prohibited without the express written and signed permission of the CCIMP.
-- CCIMP does not have the right to reproduce, disclose, transmit, publish, broadcast or repost any communications or other information that are posted to or exchanged via the Site unless explicit written permission is given to CCIMP by the poster. While maintaining the confidentiality of users name to the extent possible and practical, CCIMP reserves the right to reproduce, disclose, transmit, publish, broadcast or repost any communications or other information that are posted to or exchanged via the Site.
-- When logging into the Site, the user acknowledges that they have read, understand, and accept the disclaimer above.
As a Member you agree to any information you have entered in the Site being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
This Site uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies do not contain any of the information you have entered above, they serve only to improve your viewing pleasure. The email address is used only for confirming your registration details and password (and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one), and for administrative notifications as necessary.

CCIMP may from time to time inform Members of third-party offers that it deems to be of value.
Information you provide for your Find a Contractor Listing will be visible to anyone who browses that page on the Site. You are responsible for the accuracy of this information.
