How to Add Your Own Photos

Note: This is a tutorial. The buttons you see on this page are screenshots for your reference and do not function.

If you are a Member who would like to upload your own photos to the photo gallery, here's what you need to do:

1) Click the button that says "Create/Order My Albums"

2) Select "My Gallery" from the drop down menu:

3) Click the "New" button and type in the name for the new album below that and click the "Apply modifications" button. Then click OK to the pop-up dialog box and then click the "Continue" button.

4) Then click on the "Upload Picture" link in the top menu (The "Upload more pictures" link may also be used to upload several photos at once). Next to the "Album" field, choose the new album you created earlier  under "Your Private Albums" in the drop down box. Then click the "Browse..." button and browse to your photo on your computer that you would like to upload. You may also enter a title, description and keywords for the photo(s) to help other members find your photo, if you set the album to be public in the next step.

5) You may now click on the "My Gallery" link in the top header. You should see the album you created with a thumnail of the photo you uploaded. To change the propoerties of that album, click on the "Properties" button.

6) Here you will see the detailed properties of your new album. You can rename the album, enter a description, choose the thumbnail that will represent this album and set permissions for this album. If you want other users to be able to see your album, make sure " Album can be viewed by" is set to "Everybody (Public album)." If you want to make this a private album that only you and the administrators can see, choose "Album Owner Only." Click "Update Album" when you are done:

Remember, each user has an image quota of 1024 KB, so do not upload a lot of high resolution photos or you will run out of space. You can always delete older photos if you want to replace them with newer ones. Each individual image size may not exceed 1024 KB and must be 600 pixels wide or smaller.
